Inspire HR- weight lifting caloric inaccuracies

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hello,

Just got my Inspire HR today and configured it to my personal info- lifted weights for an hour today and it came to a commercially inaccurate number north of 750 calories burnt within that time period. Is there an obvious step I missed while configuring (other than dominant vs non dominant hands) or is this an accurate representation of what to expect moving forward? Any insight would be appreciated.

@Chris4002 Welcome to the Fitbit Community!

Let me help you with your caloric burn calculation while doing weight lifting with your Inspire HR. This will depend on several factors, your personal information (age, weight, height, etc.) as this is used to calculate your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate), your heart rate and the mode you selected. The activity will include the calculated calories for the BMR and the exercise calories. Check how high your heart was and your personal information. If you find this not to your liking then you can manually log the activity.

Let me know how it goes.
