Inspire HR will not restart

My screen has frozen and is stuck on the main clock screen. I attempted a restart following the instructions on the Fitbit website, but the restart would not work. The fitbit vibrated when plugged in, but not while holding down/releasing the button & no smiley face came up. Does anybody know what is going on/how to fix this?

I have not yet heard back from fitbit support after reaching out two weeks ago.
