Inspire HR will not turn on or take a charge

A couple of weeks ago, my Fitbit Inspire HR started acting up. First, the battery wouldn't hold a charge for more than a day. I had to charge it every night. I cleaned the device & charging cable, as instructed. I tried charging the device with my laptop to ensure a working USB outlet. Nothing worked.
Then, suddenly last week, the screen was not responsive and I couldn't scroll to find other stats--I could only see the time. I tried resetting the device using instructions from Fitbit. Nothing worked.

Now, yesterday the whole device just stopped working. I cannot get it to turn on. I have had it plugged into my laptop for over two hours. It will not turn on at all. The device is not showing up in the app at all either. The device is barely a year old--bought 12/2/19.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Hi @tnmueller, welcome to our Fitbit Community. Since your Inspire HR is still unable to turn on even though you have restarted it and charged it, please let me know if your Inspire HR vibrates when you put it on the charger.

In the meantime, try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. This article contains steps that you already tried but you can skip them and proceed with the rest. After this, charge your Fitbit device again for 2-3 hours and see if it comes back to life.

Keep me posted on the outcome.
