I have had my Fitbit for just over a year, it has just started to malfunction. It won't charge even though it's been plugged in for four hours, and I get a small vibration when I press the button (occasionally a smiley face) but it seems to have died during the course of the day. Please advise as to how to proceed.

Hi @DotSharp, welcome to our Fitbit Community. Regarding the charging issues that your Inspire HR has experienced, I appreciate the time spent trying to get it resolved before contacting our forums.
I'd like you to try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. This article may contain steps that you already tried but you can skip them and proceed with the rest. After this, charge your Inspire HR for 2-3 hours and see if it comes back to life.
Let me know how it goes.

This doesn't have switch off instructions for the Inspire HR model. Please can you give me the information required to restart it?

@DotSharp, please select the option where it says, Ace 2 and Inspire series, which applies for the Inspire HR.
I'll be around if any question arises.

same thing happened to my Fitbit. Don’t expect fit bit to do anything. I was told it’s out of warranty. It shouldn’t die after 13 months. Good luck.
