my Fitbit inspired hr all of a sudden stopped having the green light. when I connect to the charger, it was showing a smiley face, but now nothing. it's also not charging.

Hi there,
I have the same issue as Treesabell. above. This morning my Fitbit logged my swim, then started to flash 51 on the screen about an hour later, then went black the green light on the back isn't working now.
I have updated my Fitbit app on the Playstore for my android, I have undertaken the trouble shooting, cleaned the charger points and back of fit bit with an alcohol wipe. Checked the USB port with other devices and its working. Tried to charge in the charger on the wall plug, still no green light, still a black screen.
I have unpaired the device and tried to pair again, now my phone tells me that inspire HR is not available to connect.
I am out of ideas, what should I do next?
The fitbit is recording steps, so it os working, the battery is charged to 44% currently
