Inspire HR won't display, won't reset

My Fitbit was working fine until I updated the firmware on my Inspire HR, and then the display went black, and I couldn't get it to show me anything at all. I followed the steps that other folks on here have done to reset their Fitbit to fix the problem, and while my Fitbit will show me the smiley face, the green lights never come, and the Fitbit never resets, and simply goes black again. 

Help?
