Inspire HR won’t keep connection to iPhone to track my run GPS

For the past week or 2 my inspire HR suddenly will not keep the connection to my iPhone when I go for a run. It has always worked until now it is almost a year old. I have the app open so I don’t know what the issue could be or why it has started now? Every time it’s the same it connects and then disconnects within a few minutes. It also calculates my distance and pace way off what my other running apps do.

I have already tried the following:

Reset tracker

Restart app

Restart iphone

Forget tracker from app & reinstate

Checked sync settings are turned on

@Rslade19 I hope you're doing well!

Let me help you with your Inspire HR not recording your distance correctly nor syncing correctly and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. You can try the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. You can find troubleshooting instructions here and here.

Regarding the distance detection, your device uses the number of steps and stride length to calculate the distance. You can improve the accuracy by measuring and logging your stride length. Feel free to use these instructions to do this.

Let me know ho wit goes.
