I haven't used my HR in a few weeks, last week I decided to charge it, Sync it, and start using it again. I did all that on Thursday. While working out I hit 6,000 steps but it wasn't showing up on the app, so I synced it again, and lost those 6,000 steps. Went right back to 0. A little upsetting but not a big deal, I just kept count in my head. I hit 10,000 steps that day and everyday after up to Sunday. I also worked out all those days as well. Today I get my weekly report and I'm excited to see what it says...well it says I did nothing on those days and my best day was Wednesday with a little over 5,000 steps. Problem is, I didn't wear my fitbit on Wednesday. No one did. In fact, it was dead from not being charged. The fitbit itself is tracking my progress but somehow it's not syncing with the app on my phone and therefore not being moved onto my dashboard. Has anyone else had this issue?

@TigerLillyGypsy Welcome! Thanks for being part of our Community!

Let me help you with your Inspire HR not syncing your data correctly. It sounds as if you don't sync your device regularly. You need to do this in order to keep the time and date correct on the tracker. If the tracker's battery dies on a Wednesday if you charge the following day but not sync it then it will still be set to Wednesday . In addition if you exercise and then sync then it will transfer these steps to Wednesday instead of the correct day. Which phone are you using? Is it compatibleYou can try the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  • You can find additional suggestions here.

Let me know how it goes.
