Inspire HR won't stay on unless it's connected to the charger

My fresh out of the box Inspire HR shows 100% charge but turns off immediately when taken off the charger.

@mrefjl you could try restarting it. (Instructions here ) It may be necessary to do that a few times. 

I'm not sure where you purchased your Inspire HR or what your return options are, but you may want to investigate that. The Inspire HR was discontinued in September 2020. No new ones were manufactured after that time. That means your Inspire HR is at least 4 years old. It's likely to be even older than that.

Unfortunately, rechargeable batteries have a shelf life. Even batteries that are never used will lose power over time. It sounds as though your battery may be at the end of its useful life.
