Inspire HR won't sync or pair

Hi there, @Caz65. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Inspire HR. I understand how you must be feeling. 

May I know the model of your mobile phone? Please make sure it meets the requirements listed here.

Despite meeting the above requirements, the following devices often exhibit compatibility issues that cause our products and services to not operate properly:

  • Huawei P8 Lite
  • Huawei P9 Lite 
  • Xiaomi Mi 6 
  • Huawei P20 Lite 
  • See these additional instructions for help resolving any issues using the Fitbit app on this device.

If your phone is not on the list above and meets the requirements to operate properly with the Fitbit app, please try the steps below:

1. Remove the Inspire HR from your phone's Bluetooth settings and in the Fitbit app.
2. Restart your Inspire HR.
3. Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use.
4. Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
5. Set up your Inspire HR.

I have an iPhone 10 and I am having the same issues. It won’t sync, my phone will recognize the Bluetooth connection, but the app won’t. When I restart the Inspire, it just gives me a smiley face and goes right back to the wrong time and the app says it’s “unable to sync” 

 

I have tried everything on the troubleshooting page and still get nothing.

So I also have had problems with my fitbit. I did everything on the problems page and nothing worked. I just happened to say to my boss, as I was coming home to call customer service,  has helped me fix my problem. 

 

Anyway I reinstalled the app and logged in. Tap on your photo and I binned my inspire hr and then set up a new device and has worked.
