I recharged my inspire HR 2 days ago. before removing from the charger I pushed & held the side button until the smile face with the black background appeared as I usually do.  when I took it off the time was off by just a couple minutes so I went to settings on the device to clear used data.  that made the time go completely off by a few hours.  I've tried several times to charge & reset which is not working in fact im now off by a day.  Ive tried everything please help!!

@jennzluck76 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with your Inspire HR not syncing nor showing the correct time. When you clear user data from your tracker you basically remove it from your account. You can set it up again by following these instructions. Once it is paired to your account it should sync and correct the time on it. The data that wasn't synced to your account will be lost.

Let me know how it goes.

@ShaggyHud It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community!

Let me help you with your Inspire HR not syncing after you cleared its data. You can try the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, on an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  5. You can find troubleshooting instructions here.

Let me know how it goes.
