Inspire HR won't sync with my phone anymore

The inspire HR is not syncing to my phone via Bluetooth anymore. I get as far as uploading the pair code, then nothing. Please assist

Hi there, @Lana79. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Inspire HR.

Please try the following in the order listed:

  • Unpair your Inspire HR from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Inspire HR.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Inspire HR.
  • Once your Inspire HR is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again. 

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Inspire HR first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

I had the inspire hr about a year and a half ago and gave up on it for this reason, cant be bothered flicking all the bluetooth switches and rebooting decices daily for a feature that should work on its own. Just bought the inspire 2 about a week ago and im already starting to see the same issue get worse after a week. The only thing I havent tried is using a different phone and im not in a position to just buy new phones willy nilly to test this stuff out.
