My Fitbit, upon being synched with the app and starting the exercise, will stop tracking the bike ride at .01 miles into the ride.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared in your post. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know when was the first time you experienced this issue and how many times since then? Is this affecting the Bike exercise only or other activities as well? Do you track the Bike exercise with the SmartTrack auto-recognizing feature or from the exercise shortcuts? In the meantime I receive your answers, please restart your Inspire HR.

Hello, RicardoFitbit. Thanks for the reply. To answer your question, I started having this experience several weeks ago, so early July. I've tried restarting it, that has not worked. The way I track the bike exercise is I select the exercise "Bike" on the Fitbit, then turn on the application and allow them to connect, then I start the exercise by tapping the screen - which starts fine as you can see it start to track the time and distance. It then stops .01 miles into the ride. I haven't used the other exercise trackers beyond just using it to count steps.

Can you share what steps need to be taken to fix this? I have seen many people having the same issue. Can customer support help myself in resolving this problem of the Fitbit Inspire HR not tracking my bike ride for longer than a minute or two?

The same is happening to me. I have done two bike rides and today it stopped at .04. I tried moving my phone closer since it stopped at .01 yesterday but it still didn’t work.

Same issue, outdoor bike does not work .
