I just received my Inspire HR device. I charged it to over 90% and then tried to switch it on by pressing the button on the left. However, the device won't start. The screen shows the charge percentage if I unplug/plug it to the charger, and if not, it shows the Fitbit logo and the setup address (www.fitbit.com/setup) and that's it.
The app won't find it either.

Are you trying to connect it to a phone?
I finally got it to work when I synced with a laptop. However, it never synced to my phone.

You're a God send! Thank you! Hooking it up with the computer worked! After that I uninstalled and then reinstalled the app and it picked up the Fitbit, hopefully it will sync.

@lisac79you will need a laptop with a Bluetooth connection.
I used a Windows 10 device, and just now tried with a Mac, both worked.
If the Chromebook has Bluetooth, it might also work, as I don't think the issue is in the app itself.

My Windows 10 laptop worked fine, I just plugged the fitbit charger into the USB port and installed the app onto the laptop. I'm not sure if Chromebook works the same way or not.
I did the updates then synced it to my phone after. A different hassle there.
