I put my Fitbit Inspire HR on the charger as I had previously done, but the display has stayed black, and it is randomly vibrating. Sometimes, a happy face will appear, then fades away and the screen stays black.

I have been so crazy busy since I posted my original message, but have been following everyone's comments. It's crazy how many people are having the same issue! I am going to call customer service this week! Thank you EVERYBODY for the great info!!!

So... I just called customer support. Got the usual troubleshooting: plug it in, try to restart, try to connect with iPhone, try to update software - again, no progress. They are opening an escalation case, from which an e-mail will be sent to me in the next 24-48 hours, and then I will follow those instructions, when it shows up.
Did all of you guys have that experience? Or did they handle the replacement immediately on the phone?

Me too. Just nothing working. One-month-old Fitbit won't work. Display black.

I can not power on my inspire HR. The smile face comes on for a few seconds and then shuts off. The watch vibrates every few seconds.

Reported it via the chat function where they established it had undergone a critical failure. They will be replacing it shortly. Sounds like you should do the same!

This happened to me with my Inspire HR as well. After trying everything from the website and this thread, I called customer service. They were helpful and are sending me a replacement. The replacement has 30 day warranty of it's own and then the remainder of the original warranty applies to the replacement. That's what I was told when I expressed concern with so many people seeming to have the same issue.

The same issue just happened to me also, and I cannot be able to contact the customer service also, the helpline is always busy.
I don't know when they're going to clear the line and pick up the call.
Hoping someone from fitbit india, addresses the issue.
