Inspire HR won't turn on

Is it me or do this things seem to die after a year?!? Second fit bit and this time my HR which I quite like has died. First the screen response became slugish, ould scroll or not sometimes, then the charge would not hold. The it died all in a space of about a week. Probably about to cut and go from fit bit after this.

I'm having the exact problem.  When I try to find out how to send it back on warranty, I get sent in a circle of links with no answer.  I bought mine off Amazon.ca who has been no help.  Mine is not quite a year old.  I really like my inspire HR but I agree, if this is how they act I think I'll try Apple

I have been having exact same issues for over a month, but the battery drain just happened in the last week- cannot use the Inspire at all. Mine is  a year and a half old.

after several calls to customer service, they admitted that the Inspire HR had battery problems , as cited by many users, and that it could not be fixed, so don't waste your time. They offered a 37% discount on the purchase of a new watch. When I went to replace it, the Inspire is "on sale" so the discount would not apply..... so my advice is to just go buy a replacement  watch if you want one, and pay the SALE price....unless you want a different/ not on sale watch, then maybe the discount would apply.... very disappointing!!!!

They offered me a new inspire HR or a discount on a new model of my choice.  I decided that getting a new Inspire HR was just going to get me to the same place I am now without the warranty so I'm going to try the new inspire2, I really liked my Inspire so fingers crossed that this one has a better life span.  I agree, it's a little disappointing, but  for me they did come through with the warranty (mine was only 11 months old) once I figured out how their warranty gobleygook worked from Canada.  The person I talked to was very helpful!   They obviously know there's a problem because I didn't have to send the old one back for repairs.  Good luck with your new device!

Hello both - my new inspire shocked me and burnt me, yours died from a known technical fault, one of many I see in this forum. Personally Ive bitten the bullet and gone for a refund from Amazon! Is there any reason that you cant just do the same given the devices you have had are defective and within warrantee?

Holy cow! My unit was out of warranty by six months. So I don't think Amazon will help me, but it is a good idea! Thanks.

YIKES!!!  Mine hasn't tried to injure me yet....When I tried to go into the order on amazon.ca it said that there was no more support or warranty, wouldn't even try to open the link.  I had no choice but to go to Fitbit and once I was able to contact them they were really helpful.  I sure hope my new one doesn't try to kill me like yours has.

I am having the same issues my inspire hr Fitbit has turned off and won't come back on, how do I solve this problem it is only 13 months old

Ive sent it back to Amazon, and will not be buying another! This entire site appears to be littered with people having broken straps, broken faces, batteries that after 13 months die, locked and dead devices, ones that wont update......... and those like myself getting burnt / shocked etc....what amazes me is that folks buy these devices time after time and then are amazed that the same problems reoccur - or are so grateful Fitbit replace the faulty item or offer a 35% discount on a new one they remain loyal to a product that has clearly had its day! The special "you've been hurt by the faulty device" team did eventually get back to me and offer a convoluted refund that would take a significant effort to enact - but Id already sent the rubbish back to Amazon. I suspect consumer law in UK is a great deal better than USA or CDN from the posts Ive read here - suggest folks stop flogging the dead horse of Fitbit!
