Inspire HR wont turn on and vibrates

My well cared for, 3 month old Inspire HR was working perfectly until today.

 

Today, with 40% charge, the screen went blank and it started vibrating at regular intervals.

 

Odd I thought. I plugged in the charger and nothing happened. Again, odd. I let it charge for 30 minutes then tried turning it on again. Nothing. No green lights, nothing. I tried a different USB ports and again nothing.

 

I tried holding down the button for 5 seconds. Nothing. I tried cleaning the pins and recharging. Nothing.

 

Then came the hell of trying to get help. There is no Australian contact number so I tried live chat. That proved useless. I tried messaging on Facebook. Nothing. 

 

I believe my fairly new fitbit has suffered a catastrophic failure but can't get any help and stupid me has thrown out the packaging and receipt. Why keep them when my Alta HR was perfect for years.

 

Argh!!! Does anyone else have this issue? Does anyone know how to contact an Australian representative of the company? It's so frustrating and I am very disappointed.
