Hi there! I could use your help. This fitbit is still fairly new - I got it at the beginning of this year. I went to sleep last night and it simply turned off at some point in the night. It will not turn back on. I've cleaned it with alcohol, I've tried holding the power button down, I've plugged it in for a charge, nothing. 

 

Please help!

Charge it and while it is charging, press the side button until a smiley face appears. Should be good to go after that. Hopefully this helps!

Hi @msmith12 ,

I am not Fitbit staff but I have just helped someone with a similar issue.

Make sure the battery charges by attaching the charging cable. If not clean the contacts again ( I see that you have), or check the cable to make sure it is intact.

 

The battery could of have failed but this is rare to happen in such short usage terms.

 

Update your Fitbit 1871.htm

 

try contacting Fitbit support if neither of the options work.
