I've had my Inspire HR for a while now. For some reason the device will not vibrate. My notification is on, my iPhone 8 is not on "do not disturb". I have removed the device from my dashboard twice. I have rebooted my device twice. I do get notification on the device. It just won't vibrate. Can anyone help me?

@Cindy_J It could possibly be an issue with the motor that vibrates the tracker. I see that you have already reached out to our support team. Thanks for doing so. They will be back in touch with you via email soon, so be on the lookout.
@NellyG @fegriffith Thanks for the assistance!

Yes I’ve restarted twice.

Well I read the article. Talks about if I have problems with my notifications. My notifications works fine. My Fitbit just won’t vibrate.

I hope I don't muddy the waters for you, but on my Charge 2 I've inadvertently turned notifications off on the device itself. Somehow there was a long press on the side button and that will turn the notifications off on the device. From the sounds of it, the Inspire works the same. So, from no menu (just lifting your wrist to see the time), have you tried long pressing the side button? A long press, if it works the same, turns the notifications on and off. Should give you a little vibrate and a message.

Thank you so much for you help. But, I've checked my notifications, turned them off and back on. Both on the device and dashboard. I've had a Charge 2 and would accidentally turn off the notifications. I get my notification just fine. The device just won't vibrate. Kind of hard to know if you have a notification if the device doesn't vibrate.

i@Cindy_J Does the Inspire vibrate at other times? Just wondering if it is the vibration motor.

No my Inspire HR has never vibrated. So it could be the vibration motor.

I have the same issue. Everything else works about the tracker but it does not vibrate at all. How do I contact support?

Try this link. I first did the chat and explained to them I already went through the trouble shooting. I think then they gave me a case# and someone from Fitbit emailed me back.

Hello
I wondered if anyone had solved this vibrate issue? My fit bit vibrated for about a week then stopped. I tried all the restarts etc and then got a replacement Fitbit. The new Fitbit doesn't vibrate either even after a restart and checking notifications are on. Any suggestions would be wonderful

Sorry that this keeps happening to you - I'm wondering if they had a bad batch where the vibration mechanism just doesn't work. I would either a) ask for another one (and ask that they expedite getting it back to you as it took mine over a month), b) ask for a different model at no cost difference. It's a shame that folks keep experiencing this issue. I have been a big Fitbit fan for awhile but the issues with quality have been disappointing.
