Inspire HR workout detection ends when running on bleachers

Part of my walking workout involves running 12 sets of stadium bleachers when 2/3 of the way finished with walk portion.  Tracking worked fine with my old Alta that recently 'fitbit' it.  My new Inspire works fine until I get to the bleacher part.  For some reason, it ends my workout as soon as I start the bleachers, even though the workout continues for another 40 minutes.  Any ideas how to avoid this?  It shows the workout as being 45 minutes rather than 85-90  minutes it usually is.

@MCremer I hope you're doing well!

Let me help you with your activity detection. This is really odd as the activity and movement continues when you are running on the bleachers. Your device detects activities based on the motion on your arm. The automatic detection is a feature called SmartTrack. For example when using the elliptical machine make sure you have the moving bars so your device detects the motion and records the activity itself, once an Elliptical activity is saved on your account it should show on the Recent Exercise area. If your heart rate is high but there isn't much motion (yoga, weight lifting, etc.) then these activities will be difficult to be detected by your device. Still you can manually log your activity so you have a record on your account or use the activity mode on the device itself.

Let me know how it goes.

Not sure if you noticed I was running up and down stadium steps? My arm is definitely moving during the process, and my old Fitbit Alta did not have this issue. It has only been a problem with the new device.
