I'm finding the Inspire HR heart rate monitor is inaccurate especially at higher BPM. I was at the gym exercising on a ARC Trainer. The Fitbit had my heart rate at 101 and the ARC, which has a built in HR monitor in the handles, showed 124. I moved the Fitbit low and high, top and bottom of the wrist plus loosened and tightened the band. It still was well under in it's accuracy. This has also happened while climbing steps outside the gym and I took my own pulse. The Inspire HR is consistently inaccurate.
Anyone else?

I have the same issue - HR was showing 109 while I was sitting reading and my manual check was 64

I have the same problem! The weird thing is, mine used to work. The first 10 months I had it the heart rate monitor worked really well when I was cycling. I even tested with a Polar heart rate strap and they were pretty close.
Now, suddenly, in the past two months, it has stopped working when I exercise. I've changed nothing in how I wear it. For the first 20 minutes of my spin class, it doesn't register above 101, despite the Polar HR strap registering in the 130s-140s. Then when my HR gets up to 170 on the Polar, Fitbit shows 115. Then it randomly drops down to 80. It told me at the end of a 50 minute spin ride that I'd gotten only 23 zone minutes when, according to my Polar HR and a pulse oximeter and my own experience (I can certainly feel when I am out of breath), I should have logged closer to 75 zone minutes.
I've asked for help and the only thing Fitbit has told me is to reset it, multiple times. It still doesn't work.

Agree the heart rate is off by 20, always displays a higher number. Can’t use this stupid device any more

I have the same problem with my Brand new inspire 3, shows 20 beats lower heat rate than what it actually is... very dangerous if you want to get into your peak range and you maybe already there, sending it back

Last year I bought a Fitbit Inspire 2 to measure my heart rate when I'm on an elliptical machine (arms and legs moving). The Inspire 2 "active" heart rate is useless/wildly inaccurate. For anyone with Apple Watch experience: If I could find a used/ inexpensive Apple Watch would it be accurate on an elliptical or just more cash down the drain ?
