Inspire- I just want to manually record workout

I am trying to figure out how to wear my fitbit at the gym and starts workout just by pressing a button. All of the help i have found says i should be able to tap the exercise icon and press "play" arrow. It won't do anything when i tap the icon. HELP I'm so frustrated!

I suspect your issue is one of the differences between the Inspire and the Inspire HR.

I think the information you have looked up is for the Inspire HR, but not the Inspire.

On the Inspire HR, when you scroll up (swipe down) from clock face, the first icon is 'Exercise', but the Inspire does not have this.

For the Inspire (non-HR), you just have to rely on auto-recognition of workouts, or manually log them in afterward.

If still able, you might want to consider returning your Inspire and getting the Inspire HR if this is important to you.

Oh my gosh thank you! I will return and get the inspire hr. Appreciate your answer this is the whole reason I bought one!
