Inspire Synch Need to Forget Device and then Repair

For several months now each time I got to Sych my inspire it tells me to forget the device. Then it asks me to pair the device again. I have had the unit for about 2 years. I have noticed that the battery needs to be recharged frequently now. About every two days. Used to go the 5 days or so.

I've never seen or read of that.  Does something actually say to forget the device?  Where does it say that - on phone app?  Exact wording of message and where it appears?

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Lost Bluetooth Pairing

Go to Bluetooth settings.

Forget Inspire HR if it is paired and then go back

App and wait for pairing request

I've never seen;  I'm on Android.  I wonder if it's an iOS thing.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Spent half hour on chat support. No resolution. Think my unit is fried.

My Charge 3 used to do that every day!!  Sure enough forget the dervice.  then get fitbit app going again, yep - it asked for pairing dod it and everything worked.  But that was annoying EVERY TIME!!  But the Inspire2 has NEVER tracked my sleep and I can't figure it out.....

Time for some other brand - too many tech issues.  My apple products are never that bad.

you are the first who can relate to my problem. Can't believe support had noting on this problem. Did you go with another brand? Have been looking at Garmin and the reviews on the Vivosmart 4do not look good.

I’ve had my inspire HR for 20 months and just in the past week or two it’s had a lot of trouble syncing and sometimes doesn’t track my sleep at all. For several months - about once a month I get that  “forget the device and re-sync” message. Battery still OK.I’m also thinking maybe I need to switch to another brand because I don’t like buying things that don’t even last 2 years!
