Inspire added 153000 steps

My Inspire added 153000 steps to my step count today, all i did was sync it too my phone.it initially showed the correct count, synced again and added the extra steps.

Its the second time its happened.

Is there a way to manually change the step count

@Rosie2021 Welcome to our Fitbit Community. I totally understand how you feel about the extra steps that your Fitbit Inspire added.

I'd like you to restart your Fitbit device as described in this help article. After this, check out this help page, which explains why your Fitbit device may count extra steps.

Finally, monitor your Fitbit Inspire and see if it stops adding extra steps.

@SU-Z-Q1954 Thank you for joining us in this thread and our Fitbit Community. Since you mentioned that your Inspire HR is experiencing the same issue, please try and visit the links I shared in my previous post.

Also, please make sure to avoid leaving your Fitbit device on a surface with vibrations, such as a desk with a computer or an AC system since this make your device to count steps due to the vibrations.
