Fitbit update: 4/9/19 Our engineers have added the Stats Heavy and Valerie clockfaces back into the gallery. Feel free to re-install them if you had recently removed them due to battery concerns.
Our team was recently made aware of an issue which may be affecting some users battery life while using certain clockfaces on Inspire and Inspire HR. We are currently looking into this and hope to have a fix identified soon.
In the meantime, I recommend switching to one of these three clockfaces: Simple Stats, Shifted, or Analog. After some testing, our team has determined that switching to the above clockfaces should help alleviate potential battery drain.
If you are experiencing short battery life after switching to one of the clockfaces above, I also recommend performing a quick restart and following the troubleshoots listed in this article.
As always, I will be sure to keep you all in the loop as more information becomes available. Feel free to let me know if you have any additional insights or questions. Thanks again!

Is there any way to enable the stats heavy clock face? I’ve seen it elsewhere for the inspire HR but the clock face isn’t showing up as a choice for me. Kinda frustrated.

I charged my Fitbit up on Tuesday night but didn't start using it until Wednesday around 1:30pm. By 10pm, the battery was already at 61%. This is extremely disappointing. I shouldn't have to turn off normal features to get the battery life that is claimed for this Fitbit. I am using one of the clock faces that is recommended. After charging it up to 90% last night, I turned off notifications, sleep wake, and all day sync. I didn't know I'd have to sacrifice advertised features to get the advertised battery life.

I switched to the simple stats and the battery is doing better, even though I love the Valarie face!
I also turned off the screen wake, but sometimes it still turns on all on its own! Or I try to push the button to turn it on and it goes on for a second and poof off.

I switched to Simple Stats from Heavy Stats and I think Simple does a bit better on the battery and I can switch between stats by tapping on the screen.

I'm assuming some people had heavy stats as their clock face before they temporarily removed it as an option. They should be bringing those clock faces back eventually.

I have the Heavy Stats face on and don't believe I'm having any problems (not removing it now as it's disappeared from the app and I may not ever get it back!)
If it helps any testers... after 48 hours the battery has only gone from 100% to 81%
I haven't taken it off my wrist or charged it during that time, I track sleep and generally only take it off to charge, typically only for an hour or so when the charge is below 50%.
It is paired with an iPhone XS Max - phone, app and device all on most recent software update.
I only receive Fitbit Notifications (no calls/texts/Appointments - As actually have an Apple Watch on the other wrist!).
I have "all day sync" turned ON permanently, 4 Silent Alarms every day; the standard move reminders but have NOT used any GPS Exercise tracking so far.
I have had the Inspire HR for 6 days (heavy stats face throughout) and purchased it from Currys/PC World in the UK and I average 15/20,000 steps a day so I know it's doing its job. I can't think of anything else that may be relevant but this device has replaced my Charge3 and I have experience with Alta HR, Charge2, Versa and Ionic and feel that (so far) there is nothing unusual about the use or response from the Inspire.
I hope this helps someone in the know! 🙂

Hi all! Just wanted to check in here.
@Terry-A Thanks for the detailed feedback! Glad to see that your Inspire is working as expected.
@MorgieDee @ToryNiquet21 @delsayed1967 Our engineers have temporarily removed the Heavy Stats and Valerie clockfaces from the gallery as the investigate a technical issue. We are hoping to have both of these clockfaces back in the gallery soon!
In the meantime, I can suggest using one fo these three clockfaces to optimize battery life: Simple Stats, Shifted, or Analog.
@sailorbear510 @Jellybn16 Awesome. Thanks for confirming that switching your clock face helped your battery to perform better.
Thanks again for the detailed reports. I will be sure this feedback is conveyed to our team. Feel free to let me know if you have additional questions.

Matt, I am still getting a maximum of 1.5 to 2 days of battery life and I miss the 4-5 days I had on my AltaHR. Overall, I do like the InspireHR better but the battery life is a drag as now I find myself charging it late every night so it doesn't run out the next day. Is there a chance this will get better/fixed?
Also, the short, SHORT wire for the charger is quite frustrating. Here again, the FitBit was much more user friendly. I truly want a new FitBit to be better than the one I had before; in some ways this is, and in other ways it's not.
What's on the horizon re. better battery life and a longer charger? Thanks.

Update on my Inspire
I am getting 4-5 days now on my battery.
1. Using Valerie watch face
2. Turned off Screen/Wake but it does turn on when hit at times
3. Waiting until I get a notification that my battery needs recharged. I think this is key.
4. Not using sleep tracker
5. Using all other features

Update on my Inspire HR (I have always used the Simple Stats clock face) :
After noticing my battery dropping 39% in a day, I charged it to 90% and turned off sleep/wake (it still does it occasionally when I touch the screen), text/app notifications, and all day sync. I don't really miss any of the features I turned off, so it hasn't bothered me any. Since doing that, it's been about 36 hours. In the first 24 hours, it dropped from 90% to 75% which I think is pretty great for an entire day. In the last 12 hours, it's dropped 8%. I would expect it to drop more as the days go on, but if I can get it to last 4 days on a single charge, I'll be happy. Keep in mind my battery wasn't even fully charged. I will see what it's at by the end of today.

I think it's very related to the vibration. Anything that causes vibration consumes battery
I have all on except the alarm, notification and 9am to 3pm once per hour walk alert
Drop will be 25% a day
