Fitbit Update 4/26/19: Firmware Version 1.60.39 has been released to 100% of Inspire & Inspire HR users!

I'm excited to announce that a new firmware version has been released to a subset of users for both Inspire and Inspire HR (Version: 1.60.39). This is a staged rollout and we are hoping to have this released to all users soon!

 

WHAT’S NEW AND FIXED

This release includes bug fixes and improvements.

Syncing issue with Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus and Inspire HR , missing steps and activities , smart msgs not showing on tracker or alerts when they arrive..and..and..and .."fantastic" job !

Fitbit isn't up to speed with Samsung technology so they aren't compatible.
I found that out after spending over a half day on the phone with two
different guys named Alex. They put me thru all kinds of hoops. The second
Alex finally admitted that the inspire hr isn't compatible with Samsung s10
e or plus. I was told to check Fitbit's website periodically to see if
there were updates. My Fitbit has been in a drawer for months now, but I
did get a couple badges anyway for a bike ride I never took and a run with
way fewer steps than i know i do.

@BancroftStreetWell, technically, that means that Fitbit guys named Alex aren't up to speed on Samsung devices 🙂  (moral, ask for John!)

Same here! I can't find where to set my alarm on the ap any longer. If they took that away then that was a huge mistake and needs to be corrected asap!

@dvojinov Thanks for sharing the information of the syncing device that you're using to connect your Fitbit Inspire HR. I'd like to mention that this model is not in the list of tested devices. We're currently receiving feedback about different devices that are not in the list and our team is working hard to add more devices to the list. But as those models are not there we can't assure the Fitbit App will be working flawless even if it is able to connect. 

 

Our best recommendation is trying to sync or set up via computer, laptop, or any other compatible device. You can also try these steps with your phone and give it a try again. 

 

@_Anne-Sophie_ and @Mpaug Thanks for posting your inquiry here. To set new alarms on the Fitbit Dashboard: tap on "Account" > tap on the name of your Fitbit > Then look for alarms. Thanks for the feedback about the new update for the Fitbit app.

Hi everyone! I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you all for your participation in this firmware thread. Much of the feedback that was provided here has made it to our engineering team as they continue to improve the Inspire & Inspire HR experience for customers. 

 

We have begun rolling out a new firmware (1.63.5) to Inspire & Inspire HR users. As a result, I will be closing this thread so we can begin gathering feedback on the latest release.
