I had a Fitbit Inspire delivered on Wednesday and going back tomorrow - very disappointed - didnit appreciate you had to be on WINDOWS 10 to make it work - steps font so small you need a pair of glasses to see. I was replacing a Fitbit Alta which has battery issues - full battery one minute - dead the next and then when you do charge it up its the wrong time until you Sync it every time. It is a pity that the Fitment Technical guys do not respond and give answers.

Not sure if this was from the update or not but just got my Inspire HR delivered last night and it lasted 2 minutes once out of the box. Turned on long enough to do the initial connection to my phone (Android) app, hit the checking for updates screen and then went dark and i haven't been able to get it to turn back on or take a charge. Bricked in the first few minutes.

Going to hold out hope...for at least a few days. Talked to a support rep this morning and my issue was sent to the design team and i should keep a close eye on email for correspondence 🙂

I'm still on Windows 7 and was able to sync with my phone app to get the update. Everything else is "working" as reported in this thread. Sleep wonky, steps overcounting, sleep icon going gray quite often. My Fit Bit Zip was more accurate than this fancy thing.

Hello, my tracker won't update. Tried resetting, my phone, ensuring batteries are 100%, moving away from Bluetooth areas but nothing seems to work... I'm stuck somewhere around 1.52, any options beyond resetting via 3 second usb, phone restart, battery charge?

Does this do anything to improve the screen brightness when outside? I bought the inspire hr to monitor my heart rate while running and I can’t even see the screen when outside.

Why doesn’t messages or iMessage turn up on my divece? Has not worked at all. Bought my divece a few weeks ago.

Have you enabled these notifications in the app? You can do that by tapping on your image at the top, then on Inspire HR, then on Notifications. The three main native apps are in that screen, and below them is an item to go to other apps, such as FB messenger.

I had the Flex2 and could go days without charging. I purchased the inspire because I wanted to see a display and still have the waterproof option. The battery has only been lasting 2 days max and I have reset twice. I have had the device for 2 weeks and I completely regret it. All forums say to stop all notifications, minimize the clock face which is why I upgraded. Very disappointed in this product.

Hi @Pyret and @LenneaD welcome to the Forums. Nice to see you here @WalkjogLori. Thanks for your help @chiQ. Sorry for the delay.
@WalkjogLori At this moment we don't have a way to change screen brightness. I was making some research and was able to find a feature request that you might be interested in: sunlight/display inspire hr.
Please cast a vote for these ideas and leave a comment to show support for it. The more votes and comments an idea has the more visibility and momentum it gains. You can learn more about how Fitbit decides what suggestions get released in our FAQs.
@Pyret Have you check the information here? You can follow the steps suggested in this article: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone. What model of phone are you using?
@LenneaD thanks for sharing your feedback with us. Sorry you feel that way about your new Fitbit Inspire. Thanks for posting the steps that you've tried with your Inspire HR.
If you're using your Fitbit to swim, I'd suggest to clean the contacts located in the back of it. These contacts can become obstructed by microscopic dirt or debris that prevents them from making a good connection to the charger. Use a toothpick or toothbrush to clean the charging contacts, do not scrape them with anything metal because this may damage the plating and result in corrosion.
Please try to restart it, if you haven't do so. How are you changing your Fitbit? We recommend plugging your charging cable into a USB port on your computer or other low-energy device. If necessary, you can use a UL-certified USB wall charger. Don't use a USB hub or battery pack to charge, and only use the charging cable that came with your tracker. Did you have issues before with the charging cable? Please take a look of these recommendations to charge your Fitbit too.
Let me know if there's anything else I may assist you with.
