Inspire & Inspire HR Firmware Update: Version 1.63.5

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Fitbit Update 7/16/19: This update should now be available to all customers! If you have any difficulty updating, make sure you are following the directions in this article, and then provide as many specific details as possible in your post so that we can assist.

Hi all! We've begun releasing Inspire & Inspire HR Firmware update (1.63.5) to customers!

This is a progressive rollout which means everyone will receive it at different stages until it has been completely released to all users. You can expect to have it within a few weeks. We roll out releases in phases as a cautionary measure so that we can monitor performance closely and make adjustments if needed.

*Firmware releases are not distributed based on region or location and can reach anyone no matter where you reside. We do not recommend performing a factory reset to force the update to your device as your data will be lost and you may not get the update. Please be patient and wait until you see the update banner inside of the Fitbit app to begin the firmware download.

WHAT’S NEW AND FIXED

We have 5 new clock faces you can try. Find them in the Fitbit Clock gallery. To change your clock face, see How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?

This release includes bug fixes and improvements.

HOW DO I UPDATE?

Step by step instructions for updating your tracker can be found here. Please be sure to have your Inspire or Inspire HR attached to your charger while updating.

If you run into any trouble updating your tracker, please try these troubleshooting tips

Looking forward to hearing everyone's feedback on the latest release. If you have any questions, feel free to let me know!

My iPhone shows that Fitbit updated 3 days ago and ever since I’ve received simplified sleep details. It was working fine prior to that.

Ive done a soft reset and set the sleep sensor to Sensitive from Normal. I’ve also confirmed my heart rate tracker is on.

Help please!

I hate this update. I hate the new sleep layout. I hate that it’s not properly tracking my sleep. I hate that this updated without my knowledge.

Fitbit shows it was updated on June 10 to Version 1.63.5:D373076B-2C71-44FC-952D-E1F5DDAA1151.png

But iPhone Apps shows it was updated 4 days ago (which would have been Wednesday).

updated my inspire HR firmware last week.  Cannot be paired with my Windows 10 PC and cannot therefore manually sync.  Mysteriously, today's bike workout was recorded.

I just got an Inspire after my Alta HR was lost. It will not pair.

I found that I had to delete my Alta HR from my account before my new Inspire HR would pair. I did not lose any data. I found a FAQ somewhere that told me how to do that. (I have an Android phone.)

Hi, I am not sure if I have received the update...not to worried about that. I was wondering if a new clock face could be created with the time, date and the day of week. I am using the "just time" clock face and would love to also "see" the day of week included. I would sacrifice the size of the time in order to have the day of the week included with the date. Thanks in advance!!

Also, it would be awesome if we were able to remove and change the order for what icons appear on the watch. I don't necessarily need to see my water intake, calories, female health or weight, etc. as I scroll on my inspire HR watch. I have not found a way to remove them from viewing them on the watch, or rearranging them, like I could with the alta HR. again. thanks in advance!!

I am having the same issue. Tracker will not sync to app.

App says device not found. Have reloaded the app several times.

Hi,

In your next update for clock faces, can you include ones that we could see outside in daylight/sun??

Some with larger fonts?

Just bought a New Fitbit Inspire HR.

Tried to link it to my Huawei P30 Lite.

This didn't work. (Both are fully charges, many times tried resetting the Fitbit)

I'm assuming it is because they are not compatible (yet)?

Now I would like to know if this issue is going to be fixed in the near future? If SO, I will keep my fitbit instead of returning it.

Hoping for an answer.

Kind regards

Hello! I'm happy to continue providing assistance with the difficulties experienced with your Inspire series devices, my apologies for the delay in responding.

@FantasticMe Keep in mind that your mobile device, which in this case is a Motorola Moto X is not currently listed as a compatible device with our products and services. That said, please try the troubleshooting steps that were suggested by @MarreFitbit on her previous post and let me know how it goes. If by any chance you continue experiencing difficulties, please try with a compatible device or computer instead.

@Kate419 I appreciate your effort and patience troubleshooting this prior to posting. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check: Why don’t I see sleep stages today?.and let me know how it goes.

@Shrumpy_01 Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Can you please expand on your Sleep accuracy concern? Take in consideration that we always recommend our users to keep everything up to date, however, thanks for your feedback. Looking forward to your reply.

@martalk Thanks for bringing this to my attention. If you are experiencing difficulties with the setup process of your device, I recommend you to check all the information that's specified on: How do I set up my Fitbit device? to check if all the requirements are correctly configured to setup your device.

Then, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes. Same for you @Konababe @Tsjorre

@catester Thanks for sharing with us your thoughts and experience with this situation, the suggestions that were shared in your post are always appreciated. Don't hesitate to contact me back if you need anything else, I'll be around.

@molarpatrol Thanks for your suggestions. I want to suggest you to visit our discussion forums and participate. There are several users who are interested in fitness, healthy eating, better sleep, among others. I'm sure that they will be happy to meet you there. Same for you @Sanjnatale

@Sheltiedoodle That said, if you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed. Also, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.

@CraigSS To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which mobile device you're currently using? If you haven't already done so, please uninstall the app, reboot your mobile device and then reinstall it. Let me know if the issue persist.

I'll be around, let me know if you have any additional questions.

RicardoFitbit: My device is a Moto E4. I do see that it's not in the list of compatible devices, which I didn't know about when I bought it. the Inspire HR does update -- after several tries -- and it drains the phone battery if it's on continual update. I'll put up with that instead of buying a new phone or computer. The FitBit itself does track steps, so I can monitor that through the day. The syncing issue makes it harder to track sleep. I probably will drop out of this discussion group after you have had some time to respond.
