Inspire and stainless mesh bracelet attachment

I ordered the Stainless steel mesh bracelet but am unable to attach it to my Fitbit Inspire.  Unfortunately I did not check if they were compatible before ordering.  Upon looking at the bracelet description I don't see whether it's compatible with my Inspire.  Can someone advise if I should return since I can't attach it?
