Inspire band not for elderly

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

The Fitbit inspire band is not only difficult to put on, but the pins attaching the device to the band sticks out and scratches my wrist.

The design is not user friendly and definitely not elderly friendly!

Hi @Tsemona888  if you have the Inspire (not the Inspire HR) you could get the optional clip to wear it attached to your waist band or your shirt. Might that be something for you to consider?

I don’t think that is an option for me because I tend to lose things that are not secured to my body. For example, I lose my glasses ALL the time and I need them to see.

Hi @Odyssey13 , nice to see you back! Thank you for your suggestion.

Hey @Tsemona888 , a warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your feedback.  If you have discomforts with the pins, you could try the Charge 3. The method to secure the band is with a button and not pins.

As you already mentioned, clip based trackers are out of the question, another option with smooth transition between the tracker and the wristband would be a Charge 2.

The Alta family would be an option as they are also button attached and not through a pin

The Flex 2 could also be a possibility!  The only different is that it doesn't have a display but you are notified through LEDs on the tracker.
