My fitbit Inspire did not log my bicycling activity as active activity minutes even though it was for over 30 minutes. Has anyone else had this problem? Only walking seems to activate this feature. Will this also be a problem in the summer when swimming is my daily activity as well.

@pack18 Thanks for stopping by! Sorry for the delay in my reply.
Let me help you with your Inspire not granting active minutes for your bicycling activities. Active minutes are granted for the most intense activity your tracker detects this won't equal the amount of time you do an exercise. For example if you go for a walk and do this for an hour but decide to actually jog or run for 20 minutes of that hour, your hour long activity will be detected but most likely will be awarded only 20 active minutes as these were the intense ones. Also heart rate helps in this detection but your device doesn't have this feature so it is more difficult for it to calculate your activity since the intensity can be detect by arm movement (you won't be moving your arms too much while riding a bike). You can read more about active minutes and how they are calculated here so you can compare it with your activity. You could also try logging your activity to see if this provide active minutes.
Let me know how it goes.
