I'm new to Fitbit and its mysteries, but I admit I'm already way into it!
Yesterday I biked my kids in the cargo bike for a total of two hours... but Fitbit clocked only three active minutes!
How do I fix this? Can I manually adjust the active minutes?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community forums @LA-just-LA.
Thank you for sharing this information about what you've been experiencing with your Inspire device.
Please keep in mind that you earn active minutes through 10 minutes or more of continuous moderate-to-intense activity. Fitbit devices calculate active minutes through metabolic equivalents (METs). This metric, which factors in your body mass, is used to estimate exercise intensity.
1 MET is the rate of energy you expend during rest or sitting quietly, while you typically expend 3 METs or more during a moderately-intense activity such as walking. You earn active minutes for activities at or above about 3 METs. If your Fitbit device tracks heart rate, your heart-rate data is used to calculate active minutes for non-step-based activities, such as weight lifting, yoga, and rowing. If your device doesn’t track heart rate, your active minutes for these activities will be lower.
If you're still think that your device is not recording active minutes properly, please make sure that you've tried to perform a restart following these steps. This has been useful for other users experiencing something similar.
Hope this helps.

@LA-just-LA thank you for your reply. You can see in my previous response or in this article how Active Minutes are earned and why you may not get active minutes recorded. This means the number of active minutes can't be adjusted manually.
If you feel that your device is not giving the right amount of Active Minutes after 10 minutes or more of continuous moderate-to-intense activity and you already tried the restart procedure mentioned earlier, the best way to get help for this problem is to chat with us online or give us a call. Have a great day.
