Black screen after charging . Tried reset while on charger. No smiley face , no anything . Vibrates. 
Have had less than a year . 
Very upset

Thank you! Your suggestion fixed my problem. Iw as already trying to figure out how to fix my fitbit or replace it. And how to make up the sessions I'm missing out on tracking for my rewards programme.

I am having the same issue. I have tried resetting on the charger many times, but it doesn't help.

This is the exact same problem I am having. I've had the Charge 4 since June. I've tried to reset it several times. Still syncs though my exercise minutes are very inaccurate (591 minutes).

My Fitbit is doing the same thing.  I've had it lines than a year.  I've tried an updraft,  reset,  and fully charged.  I have the inspire hr

Same exact issue here. I’m so disappointed. Less than one year since purchased directly from Fitbit website.

Hi Mentasti, I had the same issue and contacted fitbit. I used the chat option on their website. We tried a few things and it didn't work so they sent me a brand new fitbit for free. I would highly recommend doing that your probably still under warrenty. I hope this helps!

Mine doing  same thing. Reset once and it worked. Black screen again after a week. Tried to reset and even changed screen on app. Nothing. Received as gift last year.  So disappointed.

Just contact them directly, that's what I did and got a free replacement as it was under a year and still under warrenty.

I talked to a support agent. My Fitbit is still under warranty but was told that the team will research my case and get back to me. 😳🤦🏻‍:female_sign:

After trying everything suggested posted in the community with no success; a Fitbit representative advised me to ship the device back to them. Hopefully, I will get a replacement. Thanks to everyone for your comments.

It syncs, it charges, still no display for about a month now.  I get a faint smiley face on restart, sometimes.  reset did nothing overall.   Still a blank screen.  Charge 3, about a year old.

I have had my Charger 3 since June 17, 2020 and it went blank and trouble shooted just as the lady spoke of. What are the proper steps I need to take to resolve this issue. I became attached to it now I question the quality of the product.

HiI went down the route of Resolver.After 4 emails, Fitbit sent me a new watch out.

Hi, I've been googling about this too. Has anyone found a solution?? I've tried resetting but only vibrates and flashes green, I've tried changing the face too and that doesn't do anything except vibrate also. Any idea? It's less than a year old we got it last August. Thanks

I tried all of the things you suggested and my Fitbit still had a black screen, would only show smile when resetting or turning off.  Fix:  I placed it in a plastic bag and put the bag in my freezer overnight - the next morning the blinking light on the back was off (was on when i put it in) and I thought it was dead, but when I squeezed the side it came on just like when it was new.  I had change the clock face during one of my attempts to fix and the new face was on it too.
