I recently bought the Fit Bit Inspire for a health class I'm taking. I got it all set up on the app and charged to 100% but now it just shows a white line going across the screen. After looking into it for a little bit I found that it is trying to update it's software. It has been like this for a whole day and nothing has changed, there is no indication that progress has been made on the update. Is there something I need to do to ensure that it is updating I have left it untouched on the charger for hours and still nothing.

Hi @Stooge303c, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'd like to follow up and help you with your Inspire since it won't finish the firmware update.
In order to fix this issue, please restart your Inspire as described in this help article. After this, try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help page. Finally, run the firmware update again and see if it gets completed.

Okay I have restarted my Inspire, it has been 2 hours and still nothing.

It has now been 8 hours since I restarted the Fit Bit and there are still no signs of progress
