Inspire hr no longer comes on when I turn my wrist

The first week it was great but now my inspire hr doesn’t light up when I turn my wrist to see the time etc. I have to tap it several times to get the display to light up. Why?

Hold in left button a few seconds. Look for 'Screen Wake' below battery level.  Tap to toggle on and off.

I tapped the little icon below the battery readout. It lite up but it still doesn’t turn on when I rotate my wrist up to read the display.

Maybe this isn't your issue, but try again.  For me, it's tricky to get tap right.  The light bulb has to get bright as well as the words beneath it.

So far, I am very unimpressed with Fitbit. I owned a cheaper off brand that did way more and was more reliable. Isn't Fitbit supposed to be the "thing"? I got it as a gift and hate that my loved ones spent money on this piece of crap!

I am having problem where just time shows when I try to scroll through it will not plus will not show my battery strength . Does anyone else have this problem. My inspire hr is not quite two months old

Thanks for helping me figure this out.  Husband was annoyed that this was happening while we were trying to sleep and he wanted me to take it off.  He said "the thing was broken after only a few months".  I like the information the Fitbit supplies about my sleeping habits so I am glad I found the answer easily here on community forums.
