Inspire is losing minutes

Today my fitbit showed I had 47 minutes. When I synced the devise, it reset to 17 minutes. I walked until the display read 30 minutes. I synced the devise. My dashboard said 30 minutes. Then I went to check on it again and it said 28 minutes. Why is it changing? How do I get my minutes back? My insurance discount is based on minutes, so if I don't get them I don't get the discounts. This thing is only a year old.

@thomasdl50 It's great to see you in our Fitbit Community. I totally understand how you feel about the minutes issue that your Inspire has experienced.

In order to avoid any confusion on my end, let me know if the minutes you meant are the active minutes. In the meantime, restart your Fitbit Inspire as described in this help article. After this, monitor your device and see if it syncs your minutes accurately.

See you later.

I got a new fitbit inspire and did well for the past year, with only occasion loss of active minutes. Now it is almost daily. I walk in three 15 minute segments. Yesterday I had 46 active minutes on my fitbit inspire. The app said 30 after I synced it. My device then said 30 minutes. Why is the process deleting active minutes - this is what my insurance discount is based on and it important not to loose!

Hi @thomasdl50. Welcome back to the community.

Thanks for sharing the details about your Inspire.

Please, let me know if you are referring to just active minutes or active zone minutes. Also, could you tell me which Inspire is yours?
