Inspire is not finishing the update

I'm lucky to get a day and a half of battery life. It doesn't always sync. And I haven't been able to do an update yet. Keeps telling me update failed.I have followed everything by the book. Right now the tracker has a white line through it. Should I put it on the charger when updating? It won't let me do restart either. Any suggestions? Please help

Hi @Nevadamiss52 nice to see you around. Thanks for sharing the details of what is happening when you're trying to update your Fitbit. Sorry for the delayed response.

 

Thanks for trying to restart your Inspire. But since this was stuck while finishing the update, it's best if you plug in into the charger and try to finish the update. Please make sure that your phone and Fitbit app are up to date. And confirm that your phone is connected to strong internet connection. 

 

You can also try the following steps: 

 

  1. Force quit the App and turn off your phone
  2. Open Fitbit App, go to Account (upper right corner) > Delete Fitbit tracker from the Account
  3. Open the Bluetooth Setting on your phone and delete Fitbit device from there too
  4. Reboot Bluetooth to make sure your device is not there
  5. Restart your tracker  a couple of times and Access back to Fitbit App > Account to set up your Fitbit tracker back
  6. Turn on notifications

This should solve any syncing issue that you're having, please keep me posted on the resolution! Smiley Wink
