Inspire is resetting my steps

I’m so bummed. I went to sync my Fitbit and it recorded my data than when I looked at the device it reset itself, zeroed out, changed the time and erased 2 days of steps. I charged my Fitbit yesterday, so no issues on the charge. Checked my app updates and all is good. Why did it reset itself? A little frustrating. Also, I’m a lover of Fitbit and had my one for 5 years until it fell out of the holder and got lost. It was awesome and accurate for the most part, but wearing the inspire as a watch is horrible. Doubled the amount of steps  and always logs cleaning as swimming. Barely have had this a month and I’m disappointed. The steps on the wrist are off and misleading to those who don’t check it with gps tracking. I want my steps back, how can I avoid it from resetting again?

Thanks for all the details about the issues that you're having with your Inspire HR. I really appreciate all the troubleshooting steps that you've tried until now. I'd suggest to restart your Fitbit. Sorry you feel that way about this model. I'm sure you miss your Fitbit Charge.

 

About the extra steps that you're getting with your Fitbit, you can check the suggested here. This should be working better with the last firmware update of the Fitbit Inspire HR. Please make sure it is up to date. 

 

I'd like to have more information about the issue that you're having with Connected GPS. What do you mean with "The steps on the wrist are off and misleading to those who don’t check it with gps tracking"? Please add more details about this. 

 

For your missing steps, you can manually log them on the Fitbit app.
