my 3rd Fitbit and it's glitchy and pretty much unusable.  I am losing steps.  I received the congratulatory notifications upon reaching 10000 steps and now it shows 7923.   I show I moved 12 of 12 on the tracker but not in the app.  Longing for my Alta HR.  I'd love to sell it but would feel bad unloading this lemon on someone else.  Probably time to change brands.

Hi @coorscur, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that your Inspire didn't register and lost the steps walked. I totally understand how you feel about this and we appreciate your feedback.

 

I'd like you to restart your Inspire HR as described in this help article. After this, make sure that your phone has the most recent Fitbit app version installed. If the app is up to date, log out of the app, restart your phone, open the app and log in.

 

Finally, monitor your Fitbit Inspire and see if the issues don't happen again.

 

Keep me posted on the outcome.

I logged out of the app, rebooted the tracker and restarted my phone and
still didn't recover the steps or the activity,
