Inspire lost previous two days of steps after syncing

As usual I synched my Inspire and charged it Monday morning and Monday evening my weekly email from fitbit accurately showed my steps for the prior week through Sunday.  After fully charging I wore it as usual throughout the next three days and it tracked my steps and active hours each day and buzzed me at the 10,000 step marker each day as well.  I synched again Wednesday evening to also set an alarm for an early morning call.  What I discovered is that the sync accurately showed my steps for Wednesday (20k+) but not any steps on Tuesday or any on Monday (about 15k each day missing) after my weekly sync (basically a few hundred hours on Monday prior to syncing).  The app does show my sleep activity for both days and my active hours (9 out of 9 both days) but does not show any steps - how I can have active hours without steps is a mystery as well as why Wednesday steps went through but not Monday or Tuesday.

i restarted on the dongle, got the smiley face and synched again - still no steps for Monday or Tuesday but Wednesday still there.  Not a battery problem either.

Any ideas on how to “extract” the steps for those two days?  Very frustrating and demoralizing to lose them for no reason

Sorry to hear about this and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Not sure why the steps data isn't showing on your account but after syncing several times the data isn't showing at all then you may want to manually log an activity to have a record on your account. Please follow these instructions to do so.
