Inspire messages and updating exercise

Why is it when I start my clock on my Samsung S 7  for my 55 minute walk my inspire is always out at least 2-3 minutes??? I have to keep refeshing about 10 times and then it still won't update!

Also not getting any notifications like I first did, no text message, no message when my phone rings, nil???

I have had this inspire for almost 6 months and I am very disappointed with it. When this Inspire quits working, I know I will not buy another Fitbit!

@DebTaylor I hope you are fine. Sorry for the delay in my reply.

 

Let me help you with the discrepancy between your phone and your tracker. I am not sure what the problem is? What you using on your phone to record your walk (the Fitbit app, a simple timer, a different activity app)? When you say that your Inspire is 2 or 3 minutes out is it because it is behind the counter on your phone or is it because it isn't tracking any steps? Could you share a screenshot of what you are seeing on your Fitbit account or phone?

 

Regarding the missing notifications, you can try the following:

 

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.

I went back to my iPhone and it is no better... My steps are not recording as I am walking. Always have to sync! Have done everything that I am suppose to, reboot, uninstall, reinstall with no luck!
