My fitbit inspire is not tracking distance accurately. How can I fix this? For 12104 steps it said I went 3.50 miles. This is not correct. And yesterday I went 10000+ steps and it said 2.5 miles.

@Ltmaxangel Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!
Let me help you with your distance calculation on your Fitbit Inspire. Your device uses the number of steps and stride length to calculate the distance. You can improve the accuracy by measuring and logging your stride length. Feel free to use these instructions to do this.
Let me know how it goes.

I've adjusted my stride several times, and the steps seem to be calculated properly...but the distance is wrong...says I've walked .40 miles when I've walked 2 miles....I know the route..and also tested it with MapMyWalk app (which also had the same amount of steps as the Inspire HR).
I found another post that says to turn off WiFi on the phone before tracking the walk...well...that didn't work since turning on the exercise tracker on the device WiFi turned back on....I always walk with my phone to listen to music.
I'm on the latest firmware version as it just updated this past weekend.
I've only had the Inspire HR for a few months after my Alta HR died.
Will tracking distance ever work on the Inspire HR?
Is the Inspire 2 better at tracking distance?
