Inspire not getting notifications, getting  "Notification service not running." message

Hi! So I just got the Inspire Fit Bit, and paired with my Huawei Y9 2019 and everything was working out fine except for the notifications. I do receive notifications but every time I see the "Notification service not running. A phone restart is required to re-enable notifications on your tracker.." and then stop receiving them until I re start and do a lot of stuff, and then I get notifications again, I noticed that if I delete the app from my phone "taskbar" the notification alert will show up again. I have already looked up on the internet for the causes and I have deleted the Fitbit app already, updated the software of my tracker and checked the software of my phone but I don't know what else to do for it to work correctly without me having to check on the notifications every five minutes. Thank you!

@linaivcd Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well!

Let me help you with your Inspire notifications and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. You can try the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  • You can find additional suggestions here.

Let me know how it goes.
