Inspire not receiving text notifications

I can receive phone call notifications on my inspire, but for some reason, all of a sudden, my text messages are not coming through at all.

@Ash_33 It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with you missing text notifications. Lets try refreshing the link between your phone and your tracker by doing the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.

I can tell you how it goes..... everything your stating doesn’t fix it. Why give the troubleshooting steps if they clearly aren’t working from all the posts I’ve seen on here. I’ve done everything anyone has said to do for two days on my BRAND NEW Inspire. What a waste of money!!

This did nothing. I am super bummed it doesn't work all of a sudden. Worked great just a few weeks ago.
