I've had my Inspire for 3 weeks - it doesn't always recognise walking as exercise. I can't add it manually as it just adds extra steps and minutes to my days total. The exercise level is set at 10 minutes so it should log a walk of an hour as exercise. Very frustrating.

I am having same issue. Did over an hour on a fast pace walk on treadmill and did not recognize it has an exercise. FIRBIT needs to chime on how to fix this!

@Jaxter1962 Welcome! Have you tried recording the walk on your Inspire instead of relying on SmartTrack? If you don't have the Walk option in your exercise shortcuts, you can add it by going to your FItbit app on your phone, clicking on the icon of your Inspire, then scroll to Exercise Shortcuts. In this menu you can add Walk as an option, keep in mind you may need to remove an exercise first.
Are you make sure to move your arm (for example, if you hold onto the bars of a treadmill while you're walking, it may not recognize this as a walk)?

Sometimes when it doesn't record the walk and I DO log it myself, it takes the minutes away from Active Minutes. So I have to choose. . . do I want today's walk as exercise OR do I want 42 active minutes. In the past, it would just do it automatically for both. Just started happening last week.

Anyone ever solve this. Mine randomly records and then does not other times. Drives me nuts.
