For about a week my sleep has not being shown on my phone or my computer and during the previous week it worked on some days and not on others . My Fitbit is an Inspire only about 6 months old .

Let me help you with your sleep not being recorded. Your device will start recording sleep after it detects an hour of inactivity. If you have a light sleep or move too much then this may difficult your sleep detection. Additionally you can try wearing your device on your non dominant hand to decrease the amount of movement it is subjected to. Finally you can restart your device. You can also manually log your sleep time. You can read more about sleep detection here.

My new Inspire didn't record my sleep last night. Since I'm an insomniac, I really keep track of it. Entering it manually doesn't help. The tracker I just got yesterday. It recorded everything else.
