Hi, my inspire HR has stopped tracking my sleep properly over the few months, but the last 4 days in particular have been really poor. I have already restarted the Fitbit and have made sure it is up to date with software. Can anyone help or is it at the end of its use?
Thanks

Mine usually tracks like it's supposed to, but sometimes shows me waking up a couple of hours after I went to sleep, or sometimes it doesn't track anything. I started a post on this but didn't get a response from Fitbit. It may have started with the most recent firmware update. I've had my Inspire since February and didn't have this problem until recently.

Hi @LucyJHodgson, welcome to the Community Forums. @SunsetRunner It's nice to see you again participating over here!

I appreciate all the details that were shared in your post, thanks for the screenshot that was attached as well. If your Inspire HR devices are not tracking sleep information correctly, I recommend you to restart your devices and then try wearing them on your non-dominant hands when you are going to sleep. Please let me know if the issue persists.

I'll be around if further assistance is needed.

There have been other posts complaining about this.  I have the regular Inspire, and it has never tracked sleep. When I first got it, I had it on my wrist and it counted as sleep all the time I sat in chairs, such as at my computer or doing needlework.  Once I started wearing it in the clip, I have to log sleep manually.  I have tried the restarts, etc., have the software update but nothing works.  Otherwise, I like it.

I do wear my Fitbit on my non-dominant hand. Restarting doesn’t help. I believe this issue started when the most recent firmware update was installed.

Ik heb sinds ruim week hetzelfde probleem,  eigenlijk sinds de update. Heb van alles geprobeerd, maar niets helpt. Ook ik draag hem om mijn niet- dominante pols.

Alsjeblieft....help ons beide.

The issue was there long before the firmware update...

Ik kan de slaapfases weer zien. Na lang zoeken zijn wij erachter gekomen dat je op fitbit.com de slaapgevoeligheid kunt  instellen van normaal naar gevoelig.

My first Fitbit didn't offer sleep stages, so when the Alta HR came out I immediately upgraded to that. Step counting is mildly interesting, but sleep tracking information is my prime reason for having a Fitbit. The Alta HR became increasingly erratic and for the last year I had it gave me sleep stages on no more than 3 or 4 nights. I called Fitbit help in July and was told it was too old and I should get a new Fitbit, so I bought the Inspire HR. For the first week it gave me sleep stages every night. I was so happy. Then it stopped and, for the last 4+ months it hasn't once given me sleep stages, which is why I bought it in the first place. I've restarted it, and tried wearing it looser, tighter and on the non-dominant arm, and nothing works. The lady I spoke to in July said they knew they had issues with sleep tracking, and were in the process of fixing it. When is that going to happen? It is disingenuous (to put it kindly) to offer a product with these services when it can't deliver them. I need Fitbit to provide a solution to this ASAP. If not, I'm certainly not buying anything from the company ever again.
