Inspire not tracking sleep

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Fitbit inspire is only 6 weeks old.

It doesn't seem to be tracking sleep, but is tracking steps and activity.

I have tried to reset it using the instructions on here. I put it on charge and hold the button down.

A smiley face in coming up in the reset process, but the device is not vibrating as the instructions say it should.

I have deleted the app and reinstalled it aswell.

Any other ideas?

I’m convinced there is a serious glitch with the Fitbit software because so many people are having trouble with tracking their sleep.

I have tried every remedy to get my Fitbit Inspire to work properly but it still won’t function correctly. Tracking my sleep is a main function for me so I am very keen to get this sorted.

Can someone help, please 🙏🏼.

I unpaired my device from my Android.  Then I could not pair it until I turned notifications on.  Then my phone requested pairing to this new device.  Suddenly, all my sleep recodings showed up.  My phone showed no sleep or activities since Dec 9th.  Hope this helps!

I’m pleased you got your issue sorted. I did too…eventually. Not quite sure how…but just to explain in case it helps anyone else. I use an ipad and an iPhone. They are linked but I have the Fitbit app on my ipad only (the display is so much easier to navigate). So, I’d already checked every conceivable hurdle to my Fitbit not recording properly (or so I thought)…….notifications, settings, deleted and reinstalled the app several times, did a soft reset on my Inspire tracker (again, several times) etc, etc. Day after day I tried to solve the problem.

Co-incidentally, I had been using a ‘do not disturb’ function overnight on my iphone. Up until I’d installed an IOS update recently, it had not interfered with my sleep tracking on my iPad but I thought anything was worth a try, so I removed it. I also went into settings on my actual tracker, made sure all those were as they should be and double checked all notifications were set correctly within the Fitbit app too. I went to bed that night with everything crossed. (It was like waiting for Santa 😏). Hey presto, my sleep tracking reappeared that morning. Phew…not sure I’d want to cover that trail again…….

Merry Christmas and thank you to all who responded. 🎄🎄
