Inspire not tracking swim

Hi,

My FitBit Inspire isn't recording my swim at all. It just adds more steps and doesn't even recognize an activity. I have turned on the AutoRecognise feature for swimming and restarted it as per the advice on here, but don't know what else to do. I bought this mainly for tracking my swimming so am disappointed.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps before posting over here, I understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know when was the first time you experienced this issue and how many times since then? Is this happening with the swim activity only or with other exercises as well? Which mobile device are you using to sync your Inspire? In the meantime I receive your answers, please troubleshoot the app following the next steps:

 

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that the OS version is up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Login using your account credentials.
