Inspire not tracking walks

This seems to be a common issue. Upgraded from an Alta and my Inspire not tracking long walks as exercise as the Alta did. Has anyone managed to fix this problem? Grateful for any tips. Thanks.

I found that if I open the dashboard on fitbit.com and can see the steps and then do a manual sync it shows up as exercise.
